Fan for Life - Wes Henley -Guitarist - Jackson Tennessee

Those of you who know me in the Real World know I have been a lifetime fan of my Uncle Wes Henley. And you know I always like to share his projects and what he is up to.

I remember listening to him and his High School friends jamming in my Grand Parents Basement back in the early 1970's. I recall hearing them doing Henrick's and Deep Purple. When they left, I'd sneak down the stairs and marvel at the gear. Even though he was 10 years older than me he never seemed to mind if I tagged along. He would take the time and show me what the different electronics could do to the sounds.

He even tried to get me to take guitar lessons from one of his friends. Sadly, that failed. Then he tried to get me into keyboards, nope...  The only instrument I can play is the stereo.

At one time, back in the 80's, he brought up trying to get me into running the sound board and mixing. 40 years later on and I wish I'd have taken him up on this one...

Enough of memory road...  Back on topic Old Man!

I am going to share links to one of his more recent efforts in highlighting one of the extremely talented men I have heard on the bass Mr Jimmie Morris.

Its an instrumental album, I know some folks don't get into that but do take a listen!

The Project "Album", is named "Once a man Twice a Child".   One a Man Twice a Child Playlist on Youtube

Here are a few I enjoy:

Thank you for taking a listen!

If you wouldn't mind leaving some feedback I'd appreciate it! If you want more, I can share more of him work.

Might even share some of the clips of him playing with Carl Perkins, George Harrison and others!
