When people talk about ways to get cryptocurrency, they usually say mining, trading, investing. They always forget faucets. Remember how many times have seen a crypto youtuber or a news site talk about them. Not many times, I bet. That's unfortunate, because crypto faucets can be really a good way to build your portfolio, especially if you don't have money to invest or a rig to mine.
1) What are faucets?
Faucets are just websites that reward you with crypto in exchange for viewing their adds or completing other tasks. You just create an account, do a captcha once in a while and get paid. You get yours, they get theirs, simple and easy. The crypto you'll get won't be huge, but if you use the sites I recommend, you can get more than 0,50$ a day, which is 180$ a year (and if the prices increase, and they will, the picture becomes even more perfect). Remember: slow and steady wins the race! I myself have been using these and I'm very happy with the gains.
2) What are the best faucets around?
Depending on the coin you are interested in, the faucets may vary.
- Bitcoin:
Bitcoin is the biggest coin right now (and probably will be for a long time), so it has the biggest amount of faucets available:
In my experience, Earnbitco.in pays the best (use my link and you will get 1$ worth of bitcoin right away after confirming your email and using the faucet once). It has a daily faucet and lots of faucets you can complete.
Not far behind is MoreMoney, with its hourly faucet (that increases the when you use it regularly) and offers.
Freebitco.in is probably the biggest faucet around, and with good reason. It all the features you need and want: a good paying faucet every hour, multiplier games and sports betting (these always have risks, though) and even interest on your winnings!
If you something a little lighter, you can try Rollercoin, it has some nice games you can play and win Bitcoin (or Dogecoin, or Ethereum if you so desire), although it doesn't pay as much as the others.
- Ethereum:
To get Ethereum, I only use FreeEthereum.io. I'm interested in using more, so if you have any suggestions, leave them bellow!
- Litecoin:
FreeLitecoin.com is the only (not counting Coinpot Faucets, I will talk about those next). Again, I'm interested in using more, so if you have any suggestions, leave them bellow!
- Coinpot Faucets:
These are one of my favorite faucets. All you have to do is create a Coinpot Wallet you can use their 7 faucets and they pay you instantly, every time you claim you get Coinpot Tokens that you can then convert to Bitcoin, and you can withdraw to your real wallet anytime. I use them everyday, multiple times a day:
- Presearch:
You can use Presearch (use my link and we both get 25 tokens) to get their crypto token everytime you search using their engine. You can get close to 300 tokens every month for a thing you already do everyday!
3) Conclusion
Faucets are very rewarding and you can get a lot from using them. If you are using this site, maybe you already knew that (seen as this site is not only a good news site, but also kind of a faucet), but anyways, hopefully I was helpful and you learned something.
