V únoru dosáhla inflace 2% což je cíl ČNB.

V ČR klesla únorová inflace na 2% z předchozí lednové 2,3% y/y. Jedná se o nižší číslo než se předpokládalo (2,1%). ČNB dokonce odhadovala 2,8%. Co se týče jádrové inflace, tak ta činila 2,8% y/y, ČNB očekávala 3,5%.

Ceny potravin byly nižší o 4,8% oproti minulému roku, ceny zboží zůstali přibližně stejné + 0,2%. Maloobchodní tržby se zvýšili měsíčně o 1,0%. Úroveň poptávky je ale stále nízká.

Průmyslová produkce klesla oproti minulému měsíci o 2,3%.

Tento měsíc zasedá centrální banka a předpokládá se snížení úrokových sazeb mezi 50 a 75 bazickými body.

In February, inflation reached 2%, which is the target of the CNB.

In the Czech Republic, February inflation fell to 2% from the previous January's 2.3% y/y. This is a lower number than expected (2.1%). The CNB even estimated 2.8%. As for core inflation, it was 2.8% y/y, the CNB expected 3.5%.

Food prices were lower by 4.8% compared to last year, goods prices remained approximately the same + 0.2%. Retail sales increased monthly by 1.0%. However, the level of demand is still low.

Industrial production fell by 2.3% compared to last month.

The central bank meets this month and is expected to cut interest rates between 50 and 75 basis points.
