Good evening Publish0x community! Welcome back in this new article of my “Easy & Short Cryptocurrencies Made Accessible” area.
In this article we talk about more features of KuCoin!
In the last E&S article I introduced you KuCoin (KCS) and I said that is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrency exchanges in the cryptocurrency market. Launched in Singapore in 2017, it has quickly established itself as a leading platform used by millions of traders worldwide. KuCoin's inception dates to 2013 when CEO and co-founder Michael Gan, and his team, began building the original exchange architecture from the ground up.

Fees
The fees imposed by KuCoin are among the most advantageous in the market. In fact, deposits of any crypto are not subject to fees: depositing is totally free. As for commissions for trading or buying and selling cryptocurrencies inside the platform, they are 0.1% on the total order or 0.08% if you pay with KCS. Withdrawal fees, on the other hand, vary according to the currency.
Is KuCoin reliable and safe?
According to most users who have used KuCoin it represents an excellent cryptocurrency exchange, a perfect solution for traders of all experiences, even the most professional ones. Although the trading volume within it is significantly lower than other competitors such as Coinbase or Binance. Certainly, security is a plus point. In fact, the platform protects each registered account with a cryptographic protocol that does not make one's personal information available to third parties. Users' funds are secured against hacker attacks (which there have been in the past).
Here a couple of tips to increase security when operating on KuCoin:
- Do not deposit a lot of funds and withdraw them immediately.
- Enable Google authentication. The latter makes it necessary to type a code on your smartphone in order to access the account.
KCS Token
Just like Binance with its BNB coin, or Crypto.com with CRO, KuCoin also has its own token: KCS. It’s highly traded and token holders who trade on KuCoin can enjoy discounts on trading fees and also get first access to newly released coins via Spotlight.
KCS now is trading around $17, and as we can see from the chart, it has been less affected in price change with the last market crash than many other currencies. The ATH is around $27.
Next Sunday I’ll introduce to you a new cryptocurrency.
Do you see KuCoin as a Binance competitor? Let me know in a comment.
