Google is now accepting ads about Crypto!

Breaking news! Google is now accepting ads about crypto wallets and exchanges. Starting on 8/3/21 users can apply with google to advertise crypto currency wallets and exchanges. Google will of course have to approve you before you can run crypto ads. Some crypto ads are still banned such as DeFi ads, ICO ads, or crypto loan ads.

Is google a stranger to crypto? No you may be surprised to learn that google is heavily investing in cryptocurrency projects. Google is working to build blockchain applications over Chainlink and Ethereum. I would not be surprised if Google one day developed their own token.

This news is in stark contrast to Tik Tok who recently banned crypto ads. It seems Google is more embracing towards blockchain technology and willing to move forward with the industry. Let's hope more big companies embrace this prospective.
