Tips When Using These Apps:
- These apps are not a get rich quick scheme's where you post and get a ton of immediately. You have to post quality content and grow your following to start earning.
- Don't spam post. Most of these apps allow you to spam post since it's new but you might have trouble withdrawing your earned tokens in the long run.
- Be part of the community. Try to engage with other posts to show that your there to support the platform on the long run.
- Stop commenting 1 word comments like Great! Cool! Especially if the platform has daily missions the require you to comment. It will be obvious that your just in the platform for the free stuff and othe users might not engage with your posts. Or you might be reported.
- Post your own content. Even if you get rewards from posting stolen content, you might not be able to withdraw you rewards.
Cons Of Using These Apps:
Low rewards compared to Instagram - Instagram earning is based on sponsors where you can really earn big but you need to base your posts in trends and algorithm's. In blockchain social media, your rewards are based on the quality of your content and the curation or tips that it gets.
Volatility - As we all know, crypto is highly volatile. The tokens you earn from this platform can be low or high based on the market trend.
Low user base - As blockchain is still considered new tech, only a few individuals want to participate in these projects. Most of the users of big social media companies don't really want to learn how to use these project coz it's too technical or either general FUD against the crypto space reached them first.
Chances of failing - A lot of projects in the blockchain has failed for many reasons and these new platforms may also fail due to lack of adoption, insolvency, community trying to game the platform and many more.
Lack of features - These apps are quite new and some features on instagram like basic and unique filters, stories, or even live streaming are not yet available.
These Instagram alternatives provide an exiting new way to be in social media while earning crypto as rewards.
