We all love Alien Worlds. It made a lot of us rich because of FOMO. And with everything in the crypto world we are always hunting for the next get rich quick scheme. Usually I would offer caution against hunting for get rich quick scheme but after Alien Worlds and the FORTH airdrop... well I can't disagree with it lol
I am still fairly new to Farsite but so far I think my track record will prove that it's worth getting into at least to see where it goes. Farsite is a space MMO RTS game powered by the Ethereum Blockchain. It is not playable yet per say but you can start earning some credits before it goes live. So this is the part where if you want to be an early adopter of a game the time is now to join this game.
Premise of the game. Humans screwed up Earth (again) and had to leave via intergalactic flight and find new worlds to populate. Everyone will start at teh "Homestead" constellation and more and more planets will be discovered by players over time. You need to find a planet and acquire a "sector" of that planet so you can build bases and extract resources from the planet.

Gameplay
From what I can tell from reading the wiki, is that "Credits" will be the main in game currency. You need Credits to purchase Fuel and Power.
You start off with a crappy ship and you purchase or build your own upgrades for it. This is my ship which I assume would be the same for everyone.
Since this is a blockchain game though there has to be a token right? Correct! The Token is FAR. And at anytime when the game is live you can convert 1,000,000 Credits for 1 FAR token. That ratio will never change and will help create a stable price for FAR. Think of PGL from Prospectors.io. Actually this game reminds me a lot of Prospectors, except space travel instead of Wild West.
To spice things up there is also a in game currency of "Scores". From what I can tell Scores are for before the game launches. They have these "airdrops" where you can earn scores for completing tasks like commenting on their YouTube video, or joining their Discord. All these little tasks will earn your Scores. The more scores you have the better you chance each day to earn a "White Crate". White Crates are supposed to have really valuable items in it.
Each day they pick a random person in the top 100 people with Scores to trade all their Scores for 1 White Crate. I don't think any of us stand a chance because Player #1 has 5,283,500 Scores... and right now I have 11,000 scores :)
Once the Store launches you will be able to purchase Crates that contain ingame items and credits. I am not sure what you buy Crates with but I would assume it would be Ethereum...
I Highly suggest if you do join to take some time and read their Guide. It is a button on the top middle of the screen
