This blog outlines my experience using Ethereum Capital. Each month I take my earned dividends are reinvest them back into the contact. Here's my data and personal thoughts on the first half of October.
For an overview of the Ethereum Capital smart contract, please read the first post in this series: Ethereum Capital — Earning Daily Dividends, Part 1: My First Five Days
The Data

Since I've determined that the contract is in a bit of a consolidation period, I've decided to purchase another 1 ETH of credits (I did on 10/5/20 after I logged my daily dividends). I personally believe the contract is in a dip; therefore if correct, now is the ideal time to buy additional credits. Since the middle of September the contract has dropped from $12 million in Invested Capital down to $7.7 Million today. However since dividends are paid out when a person buys into and sells out of the contract I've been just sitting back and watching the money come in.
Today was an apparent selloff, for I earned 0.18% of my invested ETH (0.008 ETH) but the value of the credits dropped. This means that if I were to exit the contract I would be up 6% from my initial invested amount in September and the 1 ETH added this month.
I'm personally expecting the value of the contract to start rising along with ETH and BTC over the next few months; but I could be wrong. Please keep in mind this data represents my personal experience with this smart contract, it is not financial advice.
