I answered the phone muttering a sleepy- Hello ?!"
- Luca, what are you doing still in bed? Haven't you heard the latest news?
- Which ones? - I mechanically replied without the feeling to know.
- The end of the world! An asteroid is about to hit the Earth and it seems that it will happen right here. Our city is doomed. We don't have time to escape and, anyway, even if we did it would be useless. They say there will be repercussions for the whole planet. Maybe it's the end for our Earth
- Did you wake me up to tell me this?
I turned off the phone and went back to sleep, perhaps it was the best thing to do.

Risposi al telefono borbottando un - Pronto?!” assonnato.
- Luca, che fai ancora a letto? Non hai sentito le ultime notizie?
- Quali? – risposi io più meccanicamente che per soddisfare una curiosità che non avevo.
- La fine del mondo! Un asteroide sta per colpire la Terra e sembra che accadrà proprio dalle nostre parti. La nostra città è spacciata. Non abbiamo il tempo per fuggire e, comunque, anche se lo avessimo sarebbe inutile. Dicono che ci saranno ripercussioni per tutto il globo. Forse è la fine per il nostro pianeta
- E tu mi svegli per dirmi questo?
Spensi il telefono e ripresi a dormire, forse era la miglior cosa da fare.
