I apologise in advance for what will be a short post today.
My desktop's HDD died two days ago.
Completely.
It's the first time that's happened to me in all the years I've been using computers, and it's not pleasant.
Thank goodness for emergency money, next-day delivery and a fair bit of accumulated recovery knowledge. Not to mention a laptop to look shit up and make repair USBs!
Normal service will resume as soon as possible.
