Social capital theory is the belief that like minded groups with a common belief gather together to interact and grow the community strength through the frequency and duration of interactions. Social tokens are an attempt to build this type of community. The diversity of a community may be a concern of all future tokens. Those of similar beliefs may be blindsided because they are not taking an entire perspective within the community they serve because everyone is surrounded by like minded individuals. 

This is my fourth article on social tokens and I wanted to look into the MORK token. “The community is a thinking collective.

Each of us, in our own way, reflects the collective intelligence of the community.” This quote from the MORK white paper reminded me of The Borge from Star Trek  and the collective thinking to make change occur as one full community unit. $MORK is a primary cryptocurrency used to purchase NFT artwork but can also be bought using $WHALE. “ Hackatao art is arwork NFTs traded within  the community that accompanies and supports the groups.  There is a limited supply of $MORK at 10 Million. Currently, $MORK is trading at $3 a coin and ranked #785 on CoinGecko.com. 

It can be debated that diversity of the community is within it but that may only be skin deep. Diversity of thought is what provides a deeper and broader perspective. Fostering a community around the same ideals is understandable, but what positive social change comes from the $MORK community. Trading Hackatao artwork may be a form of expression of thought, but should be shared with a larger community to influence social change. This is not financial advice but rather is my opinion and educational purposes only. 

I feel the same with $MORK as I did $WHALE. They both seem a bit suspect for lack of providing clarity to the overall purpose of the community. I am not looking for a social token that is trying to hide their purpose behind a vague looking facade.
