Many blockchain projects have speculated about their theoretical transaction speed, also known as TPS (transactions per seconds) that they plan to achieve – just a few have actually implemented any of their claims on their mainnet, and even fewer have verified the actual numbers by independent third parties!
On May 22, Whiteblock, a respected and independent blockchain testing company will release their results of Syscoin!
Blockchainfoundry, Inc. with CTO Jag Sidhu of Syscoin have recently filed a patent for the Z-DAG (Zero Confirmation Directed Acyclic Graph) that will provide for an unmatched scalability solution for assets and tokens on the Syscoin platform and through a two-way bridge on Ethereum as well, the first of many other bridges that will undoubtedly follow. For those technically minded, the details of the Z-DAG final paper can be found here.
There has been a lively discusson in the community whether and to what extent the actual numbers for Syscoin will meet - or even substantially exceed those of Visa (40k TPS), relying on the approximately 1400+ (master)nodes currently online that will all be required to meet higher performance levels with Syscoin 4 in order to facilitate such performance.
In essence, Syscoin, with the release of Syscoin 4 announced for June 4, 2019 (see details in prior post) will reclaim one of the top position in public blockchain development by providing all the ingredients needed for high-speed, almost instant and safe transaction for assets and token essential for mass adoption - a fact not lost on the markets!
Syscoin - The speed of Visa, the functionality of Ethereum, the security of Bitcoin, plus the Governance of Dash!
