Sadness, Acrylic on Paper, 2019

I realize that I may be posting all over the place on here. I am trying to work backwards from my newest to my oldest paintings and digital art, but that means I will be posting out of order every time I make something new! Oh well, at least it will be interesting right?

This is "Sadness". I painted this after an oil pastel drawing I did in life drawing session. Eventually I will get that one scanned too!

I love the emotion in it. And the simplicity of the lines and colors. I didn't want to be realistic at all. I think I succeeded.
