We guys, we are in the 1/3 of this euroleague season.
Now Panathinaikos is loosing 20 + from Villerbaune and i think thats time to make some thoughts about the teams.
It is a very strange season, we can see some "new" teams in the top like Bayern Munchen , Valencia and Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Bayern has a very smart coach , Andrea Trinkieri and Zenit has also a euroleague winner coach like Xavi Pascual.
Valencia is not for me a surprise because this summer bought 2 good players from Fenerbache , Kalinic and Williams.
The 3 bad surprises are until now Panathinaikos, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Fenerbache.
Pananthinaikos has a very empty roster, with small budget (5 millions) and a new head coach (Vovoras) so .... it is not the Panathinaikos of last decades (the best team of this century).
Fenerbache also lost the king Zots but took a very good coach (Kukuskin) but lost a lot of players and was not able to make a competitve team.
Maccabi has a better roster than last season and i can not undestand why ....
The other teams are about what it was expected...CCSKA is a team that always is in F4. Efes is not play so well as last year but it will be at F4.
Barcelona is the best team with a very competitive coach, is the team that i would gamble all my money there.
Also Real is a big question mark this year. Without Campazzo is another team and if also Deck goes to NBA Real will not be at play offs.
Olympiacos i believe that will be at playoffs this season.
Baskonia, is a the Spanish Champion and with Dusko Ivanovic at the bench (despite this summer lost Shengelia) will be able to reach at play offs.
Alba Berlin, Villerbaune is teams that will be around 10th position.
Khimki also had covid 19 problems and made many defeats....but now also do not play well...Despite this a strange season , because of the absense of crowd, of covid 19 subjects....i will try to make a prediction (it is no many different what i could do before the start of the season)
So my prediction for the eight teams of play offs are
Barcelona
CCSKA
Anadolu
Valencia
Milano
Olympiacos
Baskonia
Real Madrid
