31 Jan 1990 open in Moscow the 1st restaurant of Mc Donald's . It is very important to undestand that this period there was Communism and there was USSR so Mc Donald's is the sign of capitalism. As you know after 2 years about the communism fall down in USSR and you know the continue Russia , Latvia, Estonia , Ukraine , Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan , Kazakshan, Belarus etc etc.

When Mc Donald's opened the cost of a Big Mac (3,75 rubley)  was the half daily wage (150 rubley the monthly wage)! and the row to buy a Big Mac was so enormous that could wait 8 hours  (look at the cover photo)!

So this is the taste of capitalism in the end of Communist USSR
