Hi guys, yesterday it was the birthday of the GOAT (greatest of all time) chessplayer Mr. Garry Kasparov.

I am pretty sure that all of you know who is Mr. Kasparov. If not i will give some information !

He was born on 13 April 1963 at Baku USSR (now the capital of Azerbaizan)

Over 255 months  he was at no 1 at fide rating list (from 1984 untl 2005 that he retired from professional chess).

His peak rating is 2851 (it was the highest of all times until surpassed from Magnus Carlsen in 2013).

He was World Champion from 1985 (we won Anatolj Karpov) - 2000 (he lost from Vladimir Kramnik)  !!!!

He lost from Deep Blue (it was a famous match man vs machine).

From 2014 he took the Croatian citizeneship and live at a nice croatian island (Makarska).

After retirement he tried to participate at election against Putin but he withdraw the participation.

That's only some critical points of Garry's live.

He is a LEGEND and i can not write his life in just an article. I would need many books for this try
