The drawing that I really like to do is the cartoon style, without the commitment to perfect lines or vanishing points like the ones I have been practicing, and over time it became inevitable to realize that my style is greatly influenced by the cartoonist Angeli.
So I want to share with you a page from a comic by the cartoonist Angeli that I copied by looking at it on my cell phone screen precisely to learn how he draws.
Cartoonist Angeli is very famous in Brazil with many cartoons and strips about social problems in the country, but also many funny characters that make us think, such as Bob Cuspe, Rebordosa and the Eskrotinhos.
I'll leave a video where he shows a little of his work in the Folha de São Paulo newspaper for 40 years, for those who want to know more.

Now notice how this cartoon I made some time ago has Angeli's style, but the character is original.
One day when I had no inspiration at all, I used my own place to draw and my anger at having been "influenced by cartoonists" for not having any inspiration at the time turned into a drawing. I edited the speech bubble to English, because as you know, my original drawings are in Portuguese.

(In times of artificial intelligence I started to value my pencil drawings more, leave tips to help me continue)
And while I write the text I look for a new character.
