In this post, I show four stages of the process: sketch, line art, painting, and final art.
Continuing with the FanArt series that fueled my profile in the "Drawing is Living" group back in 2020.
With every contest I entered—even though I never won a prize—I gained experience...
Drawings made using a reference are always much easier to create because the subject is right there in front of you; you just copy it while looking at the screen. If you get the proportions right, it’ll work out... This Naruto drawing is one of my favorite FanArts.
For this drawing, I used watercolors and outlined it with 0.3 and 0.5 technical pens. I took several screenshots during the process, but the contrast filter messed up the sketch a bit; I only applied the filter because the sketch wasn't very visible in the photo, so the contrast ended up darkening the white areas... still, I really liked the final watercolor result. Honestly, I don't recall if I used colored pencils... (pause for a wistful daydream). The drawing is right there in the folder; I could just get up, look for it, check it, and know for sure whether I used colored pencils or not—but a voice says...
"Rest up for work tomorrow; you shouldn't even be writing this text right now".... A cursed voice or a blessed one?... Imagine finding the time to create new drawings!
Anyway, that’s it! I hope you enjoy it, and I wish you lots of cryptocurrency earnings here!
