Empiezo a compartir una serie de entradas relativas a las cervezas un poco diferentes que podemos encontrar en los supermercados e hipermercados. Dejando de lado las industriales típicas, tenemos a nuestra disposición una buena variedad. Vamos con la primera!

El otro día puse en Facebook una foto de una Guinness Original que me estaba tomando, y comentaba que para otro día dejaba la de lata, la Guinness Draught, que además, me gusta mas que la de botella.   Bueno, pues hoy me he tomado la Draught, y quería explicar las diferencias que hay, por que haberlas, haylas, como las meigas. Mas abajo comparto un vídeo de menos de un minuto de duración de Guinness donde explica las diferencias entre ambas, pero para los flojos, voy a ponerlas aquí:    

• La de botella tiene la espuma mucho menos densa que la de lata
• La Original es de menos capacidad, 330 ml. frente a los 500 de la lata.
• Según la propia Guinness, la Original se puede beber directamente de la botella.
• La de lata es color rubí, y la de botella, color mas oscuro
• El sabor de la Draught es de café torrectado, frente al sabor tostado de la Original.
• La de lata, vale casi el doble.

The other day I posted on Facebook a photo of a Guinness Original that I was taking, and I commented that for another day I was leaving the can, the Guinness Draft, which I also like more than the bottle.

Well, today I have taken the Draft, and I wanted to explain the differences that there are, why there are, there are, like the meigas. Below I share a video of less than a minute of Guinness where he explains the differences between the two, but for the lazy, I'm going to put them here:

• The bottle has much less dense foam than the can
• The Original has a smaller capacity, 330 ml. versus 500 for the can.
• According to Guinness itself, the Original can be drunk straight from the bottle.
• The can is ruby color, and the bottle, a darker color
• The flavor of the Draft is roasted coffee, as opposed to the roasted flavor of the Original.
• The can is worth almost double.

Si me dan a elegir, me quedo con la Draught sin pensarlo ni un segundo. Me gusta mucho mas por su sabor concentrado, por esa espuma densa... La lata contiene una bolita de plástico con nitrógeno, de manera que cuando la abres, ese nitrógeno se libera haciendo que la bola circule a mucha velocidad dentro de la lata y le dé a la cerveza el mismo tratamiento que si se estuviera tirando desde un grifo.  

If they give me a choice, I'll take the Draft without thinking for a second. I like it much more for its concentrated flavor, for that dense foam ... The can contains a plastic ball with nitrogen, so that when you open it, that nitrogen is released making the ball circulate at high speed inside the can and give beer the same treatment as if it were being flushed from a tap.
