It’s been another tough week of riding the highs and lows in the crypto market. Bitcoin miners hit the headlines after selling off, the Optimism airdrop went live, the Terra saga continued to make the news, and Solana NFTs sit atop the volume rankings despite the shutdown this week.
After all that, it’s time to have a little fun and relax with The Friday Buzz!
ZooDAO ($ZOO) - Pacifico & Double-Strength Margarita Mix
Feeling a little more burned-out than usual this week? This might be just the combo to loosen things up, although it may also be a little crazy.
ZooDAO ($ZOO) is a project I’ve been following personally for a long time now. It’s still in the early development stages, but the vision of the project is exciting and the team is well-supported. I believe it COULD be one of the NFT projects ready to take-off when the bull market returns, but don’t get me wrong here, this is a high-risk, long-term hold with no guarantees.
Some may say that my love of a Pacifico mixed with double-strength margarita mix is just another sign I drink too much, but hell, it hits the spot during the summer down here in Texas. It’s even better for putting the week of work behind me because it doesn’t take much before I’m feeling the Friday buzz… and only a couple more before I’m plain drunk… and only a couple more before I wake up thinking “What the hell happened? I gotta stop drinking that sh*t.”
Propy ($PRO) - Slow & Low Rock & Rye
A good friend of mine introduced me to “Slow & Low” many years ago, and I’ve kept some around ever since. When I go to a bar that serves a great Old Fashioned, I always go back. However, it’s so tough to make a good one from home that, before I knew about this stuff, I rarely got the chance to enjoy this DELICIOUS drink. Now, it’s one of my go-to favorites, especially on a Friday.
I think Propy is the perfect token to go along with Hochstadter’s Rock & Rye this week. I started following the project a few weeks ago as I continue to dive deep into the intersection of crypto and real estate. It’s been around for a while and already boasts some pretty amazing accomplishments. When we look back ten years from now, my bet is that Propy will be one of the major contributors connecting the “old fashioned” real estate market to the decentralized world of blockchain.
THORWallet ($TGT) - Carlsberg Elephant
If you’re looking for something with a strong kick, a little $TGT and Carlsberg Elephant is the way to go. You don’t need much to feel that “buzz” with these two.
Elephant is a rich, STRONG pilsner with an ABV of 7.2% and a dry bitterness that some beer drinkers, like myself, enjoy. The THORWallet DEX is a promising project within the THORChain ecosystem, and I think it gives you the opportunity for some stronger exposure/higher potential gains due to the token’s low market cap at just $2.3M according to CoinGecko.
As always, higher upside potential comes with higher risk, and we’re going pretty hard on the gambling this week. Then again, this is crypto, and we’ve gotta have some fun every once in a while right?
