Last post I had drawn a man sleeping on top of a yellow duvet, and I was not entirely satisfied with the way the fabric looked. Or, more specifically, I was not able to capture all of the wrinkles and folding in the duvet as well as I hoped, and in many cases I gave up, so the duvet, while I guess it looks all right as far as it goes, is not as interesting in its shape and folding as I had hoped it would be. This is all to say that today I decided to practice drawing fabric.
Here's a crumply napkin!

I am happier with this than I was with the duvet. I still see a few place where I could do better, where the shading I drew does not actually translate in my mind into the actual folds going on in the napkin. So, lots of practice still needed.
Thanks for looking!
