Today I was calmly watching the Discovery channel, a program called "Restricted Area" was being broadcast and the episode was about customs at the airport in Brazil and checking luggage to see if there is contraband and/or drugs, things like that, but there was A case that caught my attention. A man was carrying with him 6 thousand dollars more than what is allowed by Brazilian law which in this case would be only 10 thousand reais (Brazilian currency) which is only 2 thousand dollars in conversion and to make matters worse he had not done the conversion in a house exchange rate legalized, he said he exchanged it with a man who was a builder and had those 6 thousand dollars more in his suitcase, which is equivalent to more than 30 thousand reais.
So what happened was that the inspectors seized his dollars, returned only the equivalent of 10 thousand reais accepted by law, and the 6 thousand dollars were seized and the man was sent to the police station to explain the money.

At the same time I thought if he had a Bitcoin wallet would he be able to safely go to another country with just his 10 thousand reais (2 thousand dollars) and when he arrived in the destination country he would be able to exchange or maybe use bitcoin to use it there, I took the episode in half and I don't know the destination country, I believe that this influences the use of Bitcoin a lot.
So, sincerely friends, I would really like to know your opinion about this, let's say I have a ticket to the United States with everything in order, round trip tickets, passport up to date, hotel reservation and take with me only the money allowed by law , but let's say that my Exodus wallet (it's the wallet I use) had at least 1 BTC, how would this money be used when arriving in the United States? I believe that I cannot convert BTC into dollars when I am from another country? After all, what is the limit of freedom that bitcoin gives us in such a case?
Compared to many of you, I am still a novice in the universe of cryptocurrencies and even after doing a lot of research, doubts still arise that would probably only be answered in practice, I mean with Bitcoin in use even more, every day a new rule arises with this regulation of cryptocurrencies.
