A character procrastinating and overcoming procrastination.

The Real Beggining of Procrastination Is Not What You Think

By ROcrypton | ROcrypton blog | 6 hours ago

I'm almost 3 hours late writing this text.

As if this had a set time to happen, but it does... It does because I made a commitment to myself... and that's how procrastination begins!

- How does procrastination begin?

It starts in the morning when you wake up. In the early hours you don't recognize it; it's just another day of routine: waking up early, having coffee, and going to work.

Even at work, on Friday and with the weekend off, you don't have that same expectation. Something lingers in your mind, whatever it is, it always leaves you silent. Even the music you love so much—on a procrastination day, you'll hardly listen to it.

The supervisor notices his indifference, as do his coworkers. Many don't need to procrastinate because many lives are already procrastinated on their own; it's that old saying, "If you're happy, what more could you want?"... Far be it from me to have that "happiness," I don't want it, at least not anymore...

I discovered in life's dissatisfaction the engine that makes people chase after something more; dissatisfaction moves, happiness paralyzes (I realize here that Schopenhauer has already rented a triplex in my mind).

So at this point, indifference is my main ally since I still don't know that I'm about to procrastinate and put the text aside...

However, the true beginning of procrastination was when you set a schedule; many of us hate schedules. Time is only rational; remove humankind from the earth and TIME is extinguished in the same instant.

On this day, your emotional intelligence seems more stupid than ever, and you'll need to carefully choose your words if your job requires you to use them.

So, arriving home tired and with a few beers in your shopping bag, your mood still hasn't recovered, and your mind is like Tony Robin saying "go ahead even if you're tired," "go for it, you can do it," but where's the creativity, where's the will... You pick up your phone... and nothing happens... you go to give your family some attention, and indifference is stamped on your face like a mask about to fall, and the worst part is that many times you have no idea where the indifference comes from, you only know that it's already 9 PM and the text hasn't been written yet.... And everyone will say it was because of the beer, but if I just wanted to be a parrot here repeating and summarizing the crypto news I read on Coingeko, my two daily texts would certainly be guaranteed!

I seek originality, even if it's in pessimism and dissatisfaction, and then I, or "you," overcome procrastination and the text is done...

Whoever wants to follow me is welcome; whoever doesn't, can go their own way and leave in peace!

I emphasize here that this is my procrastination; yours may be different, and I hope it is, or are you that hypocritical robot that says "I never procrastinate"?
