When I started traveling for work I realized quick how important reviews can be. I would use google maps to search for hotels and each had a few reviews but not many. I ended up writing a few to help others out like they did me. It was very helpful to save money on rooms. We wanted cheaper rooms but ones without bugs. That was our main issue since we were never in them for long. There was just not any incentive other than to helps others to make reviews however.
