Hey all,
It took me a lot longer then expected to post this one. There's a good reason behind it hence the title "Music hits different".
The reason I say it this way is because last year on december 24th a dear friend of me took his own life. This monday the 31st it was exactly a month ago he got buried. 
R.I.P. Gery aka DJ Distefano
You would think, what does it has to do with music? Well I'll tell you. It means everything from my part.
The reason is simple, my friend and I were both DJ's, we organised a lot of parties (I <3 Retro) and last year (2021) we even organised a small festival (The Sound of the DJs).
He took me under his wings to help me out growing my DJ skills and supporting me with making music too.
There were a couple of songs we both really liked and were our "finishers" or partystarters.
I want to let you hear one of these songs. It's a hardcore (gabba) song. It's a song originally from Coldplay called Nobody said it was easy!
Evil Activities made a hardcore remix of it which hit very different. 
Imagine a whole crowd waiting for the lyrics to start so they can shout it out with everything they have! It's a feeling you can't describe but have to witness.
That's when music hits different. For one person a song can hit the emotional snare, for another person the chill down snare, that could all be because of one song! And there are billions of songs out there that all have the power to take you back to the start!
