Nowadays, it is unlikely you will find a person that doesn't know that companies pay big bucks for the data our phones provide them. Google certainly gathers and collect data from our everyday use. Facebook does the same and collects data from your interactions and then use it to "target" or "create a profile" that that suits your needs or wants, or at least that is what they claim. 

Recently I found Tapestri. An app that is soon has recently made available and it is in early access mode and brings the concept of sharing the profit big companies pay for the data we already share monetizing the data they gather and sharing the profits with the app users while keeping our identity private and anonymous. Under the current model, Tapestri should allow users to earn anywhere from $7 to $25 passively running the app in the back without any interference. So I decided to give it a try, after all, every bit counts.

Here is some information I found about it:

PROFIT FROM THE DATA YOU ALREADY SHARE

Tapestri claims that it transparently and anonymously collects data that companies are willing to pay for while keeping our identity 100% private, (unlike other companies). This means all information collected would NEVER be linked to us or our name. Data collected will (according to them) be used to understand consumer behavior and for statistical purposes that can be monetized and is INMENSELY VALUABLE TO ADVERTISERS. And we get to keep a share of the profits generated from it, unlike others that  profit from us FOR FREE. 👎🏽

Tapestri claims that they do not and will never collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII). I believe I should also note that according to the company, and this is probably one of the main reasons I am giving Tapestri a chance is because they claim that the information collected from from our devices will never be used to direct or redirect our search results, push or target or interfere with our day to day life. So, if that is correct, I am willing to use it and make some passive income from this app. And we shall see where it gets in me in a few months time.
