Today we discuss Moonbeam(GLMR) and how it is going to consume a sizable portion of ethereum's ecosystem by allowing erc-20 tokens to move over to its network while providing all the benefits of being in Polkadot's ecosystem. Moonbeam will do this by being a parachain on Polkadot and allowing ethereum projects to upload their solidity code and other project information to their network with ease. They currently are not publicly available but you can get moonriver their sister network in the upcoming Kusama auctions.
This project is one of the most crucial for the Polkadot ecosystem.

This project exists so that all developers on the Polkadot network and the Ethereum network can interact with each other literally by pressing a couple of buttons! Moonbeam is currently working with Ethereum DeFi projects to bring their projects to parachain. According to Moonbeam, the candidates are SushiSwap, Balancer, IDEX, Ocean Protocol and others.

Moonbeam Raises $ 6 Million Ahead Of Parachain Launch On Polkadot
PureStake, the company behind the Moonbeam and Moonriver networks, two parachain candidates for Polkadot and Kusama, respectively, announced a successful $ 6M raise. The funding round was led by CoinFund and included members such as Binance Labs, ParaFi, Coinbase Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, IOSG Ventures + Hypersphere Ventures, Hashkey, Arrington XRP, A195, KR1, D1 Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Divergence Ventures and Signum Capital. Moonbeam plans to launch in Q3 2021. The parachain auction process will first take place in Kusama, where Moonbeam is launching a subsidiary network called Moonriver ($ RIVER), and auctions on the main Polkadot network are expected shortly thereafter.
