Esta expresión muy usada en nuestro país por lo general se usa para expresar que alguien va a morir trágicamente o sin ninguna posibilidad de revertir el destino inminente. También se usa para decir que "todo está perdido" y no hay nada que hacer al respecto.

  De acuerdo con el periódico "El heraldo de México" esta expresión se origina en el mundo de los rodeos donde un jinete debe montar un caballo o un toro sin domar y debe resistir tanto tiempo como pueda sin caerse, pero si esto llega a suceder los audaces payasos en el ruedo distraen al animal enloquecido de cornear o patear al maltrecho jinete, mientras otros payasos lo sacan del lugar.

 Osea que la expresión "ya te cargó el payaso" se refiere a que todo ha terminado, la persona está en una muy mala situación y muchas veces solo se espera lo peor.
