Curious / inquisitive by nature, my son has an insatiable / unquenchable sense of wonder about animals. 

I have been forwarding animal-related videos to my personal Facebook page so as to fuel / stimulate his passion.

This morning, we devoured / consumed all the videos with great eagerness / excitement. Pangolin found in washing machine. Dead dugong washed offshore. Giant hawksbill turtle found in East Coast Park. Trapped whale shark set free. He loved all this content.

Next time, I hope I can encourage him to form good habits by enticing / luring him with similar animal videos! Watching him indulge in his passion is rejuvenating for me.

Also travelled downtown to meet my high school friend for lunch near his workplace. It has been three months since we last met. This is what happens to you when life takes you down different paths. Still, our chat felt as fresh as ever. Just as importantly, he took me to try out the food at a vegetarian nonya restaurant. Also had coconut milk coffee after that. Cheers to novel experiences that are a detour from everyday routine!
