Since Singapore is a country with many races, it goes without saying that it is accepting of many religions. Most Singaporeans are Buddhists. This photo was taken at a high-rise flat facing Kwan Yin Temple, our most famous temple.

Believers will offer incense to the gods and pray for their family's health every day. However, as I took this photograph, I couldn't help but wonder if our youth would practise this custom in the future.
