I took a photo with my ex-students who had their hair cut. Why were my ex-students bald?

Since Singapore is a small country, every male must serve the army for two years when he reaches 18 years old in order to safeguard the security of the nation. So, his hair must remain bald during the first three months so as to symbolise a fresh start to his new life.

Do Singaporean guys like army life? Well, I think this is a difficult question as different people have different opinions. Haha. Recently though, it was announced that starting from this November, new solders would be able to use iPads in their service. Therefore, I think army life will be more interesting in the future. At the same time, I can't help but wonder if our young men have gone soft. Hahaha.
