More use cases for moons - my ideas

We come from different backgrounds but are United in one aim: We want moons to be listed on a prominent exchange. Kraken and Binance will do fine - we don’t discriminate.

However, this seems to be a lofty aim for now because moons don’t have the kind of volume that will make these big exchanges salivate. Many Redditors are determined to hold their moons until their desired price is reached. Here comes the chicken and egg dilemma. The exchanges won’t be enticed to list them.

So more use cases of moons have to be created so that you and I will be incentivised to sell. The MoonPlace initiative was a great idea. All ties were snapped up within a day or so. Other than that, people clamour for the ability to buy Reddit NFTs with their moons. Some take it even further and suggest that Reddit should launch a NFT marketplace so that people can sell their NFTs readily.

I think what may make me want to expend some moons is the feature of donating moons towards charitable organisations. Of course, given that Reddit is patronised by people from all over the world, the question of which charitable organisations will benefit is a tricky one. Well, I think we can nominate various organisations and get people to vote for the ones that resonate with them. After that, we may donate some moons do help the less fortunate.

Another idea is to allow Redditors to spend some moons to be allowed for the privilege of reading exclusive articles. For example, I may want to share some of my actionable insights in the form of a thought leadership article. Reddit could charge me a certain sum of money to publish this article. Followers who are fans of my work may willingly tip me so as to “recoup my losses”. I sure wouldn’t want supporting a fellow Redditor.
