It isn’t every day that I think of myself as a great teacher, but I surpassed my expectations today.

I was trying my hardest to get various students to internalise the idiot-proof, all-purpose oral template I had ingeniously designed for them. This was the culmination of all my years of experience. Step 1: Action. Step 2: Feelings. Step 3: A variety of benefits. Step 4: An important benefit. Step 5: Personally, I have/have not experienced this before. Step 6: fun and interesting.

After rehashing my Survival Oral template, I then launched into a rapid-fire recollection of my fabulous running incident from my P5 days. Even used words like “scrawny” and “flabbergasted” and “stamina” for good measure, even though I suspect my sophisticated vocabulary was lost on deaf ears. 😭

Anyway, I did well today to accommodate my best and my weakest. I’ll leave the rest to divine intervention.
