here’s an example of Gen Alpha slang I have learnt recently

Every day is an adventure, and today’s Sexuality Education workshop yielded me an anecdote that I could use to bolster my teaching of oral communications skills. 

While presenting my group’s responses on a lesson, everyone looked at me with polite interest as I explained things like responsible decision making. Maybe they were valiantly fighting food coma. I don’t know what came over me, but I decided to spice my presentation up with an observation. I mentioned how conflicts used to occur between the boys and girls in my class due to their practice of shipping each other. Instantly, the air was electrified. ⚡️ There was a palpable stir of recognition as fellow educators resonated with the Gen Alpha slang: ship. I have shared something that they’re familiar with!
