Job-hunting.
It is a scary prospect, isn’t it?
The entire process of finding a job that you think you will like is full of challenges.
Therefore, your English teachers have put together this workbook to help you strengthen your career readiness. Since you will graduate with an ISC certificate from NorthLight School later this year, we will prepare you for job interviews related to your major.
However, you are more than the specialisation you choose in NorthLight School. Let’s take a moment to look within yourself. What does your ideal job look like?
To provide you some guidance, we introduce you to this concept called ‘Ikigai’. It is a Japanese word that means your ‘reason for being’. Japanese people use this concept to help them determine what they want to do with their lives.

There are four aspects of ‘ikigai’. Take some time to reflect upon yourself and answer the following four questions. Perhaps this will enable you to come up with your ‘ikigai’!
