It's not only crypto going through the roof on this platform. 6 (groups of) cover singers took the stage to blow up pop songs and make them great (again).
They're not in any particular order, they're all great in my opinion. Like in crypto, everyone has their own preferences, some even have crypto religions! Speaking of which, this first one's about losing it. The Italian goth metal band Lacuna Coil did a pretty good cover of R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion". The somewhat desolate tone of the original song and Lacuna's goth metal style mix harmoniously:

I prefer the gaming music video version rather than the original. If you want it here it is.
Staying in the video game realm, The Witcher.. wait, this next one's actually from the Netflix series: "Toss a Coin to your Witcher". The original's pretty epic as it is, which only goes to show that this metal cover is an example of an epic song made even better:
2. Skar Production - Toss a Coin to your Witcher
The guy from Skar Productions makes pretty some pretty good metal covers. I'll just go ahead and link another favorite of mine from Skar, but checkout his channel for any other covers of stuff that you might know and love. This next one's from another series, I think you already know which one it is and what song I'm talking about:
3. Skar Production - If I Had a Heart
The original by Fever Ray can be pretty dark and depressing. The cover on the other hand can be pretty inspirational - such is the power of epic metal covers!
Another good song made epic is The Animal's "House of the Rising Sun". The cover is made by Connor Engstrom Music:
4. House of the Rising Sun (Epic Metal Cover) feat. Valyant
Not sure what's up with that Hitman guy showing up in it.. Speaking of hits (sorry if my jokes are tiring, we're more than halfway through so there's not much left ;), there's a cover on Lady Gaga's "Alejandro", and it's amazing. I personally like this one the most, one major plus being that it balances well the metal screaming with punkish instruments and vocals, both done well for a cover. The guys from Helia did an excellent work with this one in my opinion.
5. Helia - Alejandro (Lady Gaga cover)
I'm sorry it has to end here, wish I had more (seriously if you find more stuff like this, send it over in the comments or somewhere). The last one's a rock cover of Adelle, by Fame On Fire, one of the first that got me looking into covers. The vocals are pretty damn good, you'll love it if you're into melancholic stuff or if you like the original song. Hopefully it will also inspire you to bring some more rock into your life ;)
6. Fame On Fire - Hello (Rock Cover)
Wait! Got one more, hehe. It's not really pop goes rock, more like alternative goes.. throat singing. Epicness can also be drawn from traditions: Kuular does a throat singing cover on Link Park's "Numb". Won't say more, just check it out. By the way, if you're into metal you should check out Mongolian metal bands (The Hu, Tengger Cavalry and the like).
