Too pra .. A contrarian view on delisting risk

This article is not investment advice it is just my opinion and action.

I was looking for fixed income investments when I came across teekay.  The price of the teekay securities had went down because of delisting concerns.  I took a very small position of .1 Percent of my portfolio.  I do need to have collateral so that limited the size of my transaction.  My trading plan includes speculation but excludes most perfereds.

Brookfield has a very good reputation and you have the potential that the securities can be refinanced thereby gaining 8.50 a share approximately plus the 10 percent yield makes up for the illiquidty and the potential threats of inflation or bankruptcy in the future.  I suspect there may be resistance to the current offer but I have time to wait.
