The cryptocurrency market is green today, with bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (Sol) leading the upward trend. The reason for this growth is the easing of concerns about US trade tariffs, which had previously caused the market to fall.
According to reports, the new U.S. tariffs, due to be announced on April 2, are unlikely to be as strict as thought. The news has led investors to turn more to risky assets, which has boosted both the stock market and the digital currency market.
The price of bitcoin has risen 3.5 per cent in the past 24 hours to a range of 87,300,while Solana has also come close to 140 with a rise of more than 6.5 per cent.
The growth coincided with a 0.5 percent increase in U.S. stock indexes, such as the S&P 500 and the close. Also, the Wall Street fear index (VIX) also fell 2.5 percent, indicating an improvement in market sentiment.
The Fed recently raised its inflation forecasts, but continued to emphasize two steps in interest rate cuts this year. Also, the US central bank said that tariffs would not have a long-term impact on inflation. These decisions and rhetoric have led investors to become more inclined to risky assets such as bitcoin.
Two key events that could set the course for the market include a March 27 meeting of the Senate Banking Committee to consider new SEC nominees and the release of personal consumption expenditure (PCE) data on Friday.
PCE data can provide more clues about the future course of the Fed's monetary policy and determine market trends in the short term.Of course, some analysts have warned that unexpected changes in the position of Trump, the US president, or other developments may put pressure on the market again.
