We all started our cryptocurrency journey somewhere, and we at UNIFI DeFi believe in helping those out that need a beginner’s push to get the ball rolling. Here’s our super easy, simple, no-nonsense guide to buying UNIFI DeFi tokens using the Uniswap platform!
Simple and easy guide to purchasing UNIFI DeFi tokens and others DeFi tokens from Uniswap!
Step one: opening Uniswap (preferably V.2)
To get started, you’re going to want to open the Uniswap portal (preferably the second version of this, it works much better) in order to swap one cryptocurrency to obtain UNIFI DeFi.
Type in https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap to your URL (either on mobile or desktop/ computer, both work awesomely). This will open the Uniswap dashboard, it should look like this if you’re on mobile:
Step two: linking your wallet
To link your wallet to Uniswap, you have to click the button in the top right that says ‘Connect to a wallet’.
Clicking this will open the following pop-up at the bottom of your screen:
To connect, simply select the option that best fits you – from WalletConnect, open Uniswap in your Coinbase Wallet, or to connect to Fortmatic.
For this demonstration, let’s select ‘Open in Coinbase Wallet’ (but you can select any that suits you!).
Once clicking this, the following will pop up:
What just happened? The Uniswap portal you had open automatically opened your wallet (in this case, Coinbase Wallet) and opened the Uniswap portal right within the app.
Step three: pasting the UNIFI DeFi contract address into Uniswap
From this page, click ‘Select a token’.
Clicking this will open the following screen, from here you can enter in the UNIFI DeFi contract address:
At the very top of this page, paste the UNIFI DeFi contract below into the bar that reads “Search name or paste address”.

Once you paste in the address, our ticker and awesome logo will pop up, letting you know you found the right UNIFI DeFi tokens to buy!
Step four: buying UNIFI DeFi tokens!
You’ve linked your wallet, you’ve found UNIFI DeFi, now the next thing you need to do is buy some UNIFI DeFi tokens!
Click our name/ logo from the screen above, and Uniswap will add UNIFI DeFi tokens to your ‘To’ section. This is what you get TO your wallet, FROM whatever currency you are converting.
For this example, we’ll stick with Ethereum. The page should now look something like this:
To buy UNIFI DeFi, use the currency you want to convert (for example, Ethereum) and set the amount of that currency you want to exchange in the top left ‘From’ section. For example, as below, we’ll exchange 10 ETH.
If you have enough of the currency you want to convert for the trade, the box that shows ‘Insufficient ETH balance’ will show a confirmation instead (this demo wallet doesn’t have 10 ETH for the trade, so ‘Insufficient ETH balance’ appears instead of a confirmation).
Following through on this confirmation will allow you to buy UNIFI DeFi, and you’ll be the proud owner of some shiny, new UNIFI DeFi tokens!
(The new writing at the bottom explains the minimum amount of tokens you’d receive in the trade, the impact this has on the price of UNIFI DeFi, and the fee paid to the liquidity provider).
Step five: you’ve done it!
You’re now the proud owner of some awesome UNIFI DeFi tokens, ready to save, trade, or stake on our new platform coming very soon!
