4 April 2023, believe it or not, I'm calling North Cyprus a Third World country today.  It was one of those mornings when I awake at 4 am. Maybe it's a moon cycle that does this or the little dog which a neighbor recently rescued from the street, barking! She's only 6 months and doesn't like being alone, perfectly understandable.

I go to turn on the light but no electricity.  Hmm, maybe it will come back when proper morning hits.  No!  All day until around 5 pm no electricity throughout the whole island (well, our side).  No explanations.  

All I can say is hats off to the drivers.  Everybody managed to drive without the traffic lights just by being patient and having respect for other drivers. What is going wrong with this country?  It's hot enough that we should all have free electricity with solar panels.  It makes me so mad to see such a great little island going to shit. Politics and obviously money is behind this.  Nevertheless, I shall report if I find out any other information.  

Meanwhile, enjoy a picture of Lucy! I think she's a Pekinese or Chihuaua mix.  I love to take her out and the kids in the play parks absolutely adore her. Have a day full of blessings everybody.
