Energy Lines - true or false?

Energy Lines - true or false?

A place I visit as often as I can is Cornwall, England. It is the south-western point of England but it does seem to be a "country" of its own. Not only does it have a wonderful, unspoilt coastline, beautiful hills and cliffs but I am incredibly lucky to have met some Cornish inhabitants during my lifetime who remain good friends. Cornwall is still very much in its original state and nature lovers and holiday makers visit in their thousands every summer.

You may know about the famous 'Cornish Pasty', a pastry parcel which is filled with meat, swede and potatoes and which was given to tin miners for their lunch back in the day. There's also the traditional 'cream tea', consisting of a large scone, strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream, a must on every visit. Don't worry too much about your waist-line though as there are many hiking routes, either along the coast-lines or up over the hills. Other goodies to be had are 'scrumpy' which is locally made cider and, these days, many small gin producers. I'm also a fan of a decent Newlyn crab sandwich but enough of my stomach and its never-ending desires!

I was rather unlucky this year as a very large seagull decided it was going for my chips.  I was so shocked when I felt wings flapping close to me that I up-ended my chips into the air; exactly what the bird wanted! So, my chips were gone! This was on a visit to Marazion, famous for St. Michael's Mount, which brings me to the subject of this article.

Ley lines or energy lines are prominent in Cornwall and England.  However, they are known around the world, especially Australia (Ayers Rock), Peru (Nazca Lines), and Mexico. Think of them as a network of unseen lines that traverse the whole planet. There may be people who don't believe that these lines exist but it seems logical that the planet would have its own energy system, just as the human body does. Think Tai Chi, Chi Gung, Reflexology and Reiki, all related to working with human energy.

The lines were first noticed by nature lover Mr Alfred Watkins back in the 1920's. He noticed that many standing stones, ditches, wells, forts and places of worship were located on a straight line. Back in the day when trees covered the landscape, many traders and pilgrims would take to the higher hills to travel. As you looked across the landscape, you would see the standing stone or next feature which would take you along your route.

Watkins also had noticed that many of the small villages and towns these lines passed through had the letters "ley" at the end of their names. Examples are Wymondley and Dinsley. Famous places on ley lines in England are Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, Avebury and Royston Cave. These locations date back far into our human past. I have visited Stonehenge and Glastonbury and felt very strong energy in these places.

It is also incredible that the lines have special names; the ones going through Cornwall are the Michael and Mary line. It's amazing that St. Michael's Mount is aligned perfectly with at least seven other spiritual sites across Europe. I will leave the reader to research this for him/herself.

I remember crossing a field near Little Wymondley area many years ago and seeing three balls of light appear. They hovered around two feet from the ground, then moved at incredible speed, changing direction rapidly, before disappearing and leaving me struck dumb, wondering what that was I'd just experienced. Was this earth energy perhaps?

This is a subject which many dismiss but also many believe - perhaps as we become more adept at using our drones, we will discover much more. Are these lines of energy real and why are so many spiritual places located on top of them? There are many questions and we must keep asking because one day, we will have our answers. I certainly believe in energy and Physics itself tells us we are all made of energy - happy little quarks that we all are!

As always, I thank you for reading, following and especially commenting. Be full of Light, Blessings and Positive Energy, we need it more and more these days, friends.
