After a shit, crap flight, hours in Izmir airport and then on to the delayed Cyprus flight, I have finally arrived back on the island.  Even though it's almost the end of October, the weather is still around the 30 degrees mark, warm, nice in the evenings, probably good enough to swim in the sea too.  It's always tiring the first few days back.  I'm mindful I need to pay bills and clean the flat.  After 5 months, the flat just had a load of dead bugs in the corners (I have no fucking idea why they want to come and die here). Anyway, it's good to freshen up the place and get it nice and clean.  The balcony was a shit hole.  Bird shit had solidified and is almost impossible to remove.  Tomorrow will be my third cleaning.  I think that if I leave the flat again, I shall arrange some kind of tarp or covering to stop anything coming onto the balcony.  It's too much hard work, this cleaning lark.  I was quite worried coming back here because of the Israel/Hamas situation.  Cyprus is placed right in the middle of it all and I just hope it stays safe here. I'm not going to smoke and I'm on a total fitness challenge again.  There's a cute dog next door who gets walked every evening, like it or not!! haha!
