You already have your crypto Card and didn't realized it

Cards which you can refill with your Bitcoin/Ethereum/cryptocurrencies and spend anywhere. Yes, not only Europe and USA, but: ANYWHERE! Why? Because they aren't the "cryptocards" you already know.

I have a fun story to share about having your cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc) inside a normal credit/debit card, accepted in any merchant with a machine, as normal money.

In 2017 I'd received my Wirex card from post delivery, and fall in love with it. The fact? I didn't used it, but was willing to. In their site, I could even generate a virtual card to put small amounts to be used at online shopping. The physical card, had a full black design. Another fact? It had an unfinished design, which made my family have a impression that it were an hyper-valuable black card, and they did a lot of jokes. I just loved to have a card which could get real money direct from my deposited cryptocurrencies.

What happened? All of those cards, inclusive mine, were disabled. Yeah, my fancy German card ;(

What I'd remembered? A year before, at 2016, I have received a prepaid Brazilian debit prepaid card, which can be used in any country. And without interest/fees, as all prepaid cards should be.

The fun fact about that? This year I was desperately trying to create a bank account (oh, shet, yeah, a f&$k'n traditional bank) to deposit my earned crypto, or to find one of the famous "Crypto Cards" if they're available at Brazil. And the truth is these cryptocards are only available at places such as United States and Europe. So, how could I have a "tropical cryptocard" at Brazil to spend my cryptocurrencies as normal money? The answer is: this card was here all this time!

Note: if you're from a country such as USA/UK/Europe and a cryptocard such as Crypto.com, Monolith and Wirex supports your place, you're better with a real cryptocard than emulating it with a normal prepaid card. Prepaid cards can have small monthly limits of refilling, depending on the issuer you choose. Study carefully to understand which kind of card is most suitable for your use.

Remember the prepaid card from Brazil I bought at 2016? After ingenious plans to transform my cryptocurrencies into fiduciary/real/FIAT/physical money, I'd just remembered I can do a simple thing: as my card supports refilling by generating a bill to pay, I could use a service to pay bills with cryptocurrencies, as it already worked before.

...

One of the powers from cryptocurrencies is: you can earn money at home and also spend it by purchasing things, doing bank transfers, paying bills, purchasing gift cards to use in Netflix or Uber and also refill your phone's credits. In these times of coronavirus / COVID-19 crisis, it is very helpful.

So, if your card also supports refilling with a bill or bank transaction, you can refill it with your cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin, even if your card doesn't knows what crypto is.

And to have your unofficial "crypto" card? Just buy (cheap if is a prepaid) or have a card which supports refilling by paying bills or bank transfers, then you can use a online service (here is a list at this post) which accepts crypto as payment and transforms it into FIAT money to pay and refill your card. So, your "virtual money" becomes a real thing which you can normally spend at a store.

We have a updated list here - contains services to pay with crypto and also cards: https://daniellmesquita.eth.link/lists/moneycrypto/.

Stay tuned at this article, and please comment any service you know locally. Help updating this list, as it is useful for your convergence between cryptocurrencies and physical money. And if you only have Ethereum's tokens such as DAI? You can convert them in UniSwap to use your ether.

Note: don't forget that there may be a period until the bill/bank service will refill your non-crypto prepaid card. So, always foresee when you will need more money and add in these days of antecedence.
