Hi, I'm u/DBRiMatt - member of the Donut DAO and a multisig guardian. I have been a Redditor for over 13 years, so naturally, when I started my cryptocurrency journey, I searched for Reddit communities so I could learn more. Ethereum was my very first cryptocurrency purchase on a CEX, but I had no idea what else I could do with it.

The extent of my crypto interaction was solely on a CEX. This changed the day I found r/CryptoCurrency and learned of "Reddit Community Points" a beta program since discontinued by Reddit.

SocialFi tokens such as DONUT from r/EthTrader and MOON from r/CryptoCurrency encouraged and motivated me to learn how to use a hot wallet and interact with a DEX and dApps. Over time I even took calculated risks with yield farming/providing liquidity with tokens that I had earned for my contributions to the community.

Years later, I'm still learning, but I also do my best to share my knowledge and wisdom with the experience I have gained over time. I give back to the community by continuing to provide liquidity to the DONUT/ETH trading pair and continue to encourage new users (as they feel comfortable) to interact with DONUT to gain experience themselves.
