The start of tests of developed vaccines to combat the coronavirus.

The Federal Oversight Service for the Protection of Consumer Rights and Welfare
Human from Russia (Rospotrebnadzor) announced this Friday the start of tests of a prototype vaccine against the new coronavirus.

The vaccine prototypes developed by the specialists are based on six different technological platforms for the prevention and control of the covid-19 epidemic.

Notably, scientists began to study the immunogenicity of vaccines in laboratory animals, including lower primates.

And it is expected that it will be possible to use the vaccine in the fourth quarter of 2020.

It should be noted that it was previously announced that scientists at a Russian research center have successfully deciphered the entire coronavirus genome from samples from a COVID-19 disease patient, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Health.

The Russian government department has said this finding will aid in the development of vaccines and drugs to treat the infection.
