SURREY, U.K. - March 24, 2021 -- Radiant Blinds and Awnings, an awnings and blinds manufacturer and installer based in Surbiton, Surrey, was pleased to be involved in the recent installation of 34 mains-powered roller blinds to three restaurants in the newly built Terminal 2 extension at Manchester Airport. Due to open in 2021, the Terminal 2 extension will give passengers a choice of restaurants to choose from.

The electric roller blinds were installed at Wagamama, San Carlo, and Bridgewater Exchange. These restaurants have all needed to be able to filter the bright sunlight through the airside windows. So all the installed blinds are now controlled by wireless remote controls allowing the restaurants' staff to easily and quickly operate the levels of each blind.

The management of Wagamama, San Carlo, and Bridgewater Exchange was more than pleased with the results and thanked Radiant for a job well done.
