Among the top 10 NFT marketplaces, including 6 Ethereum ones and 4 Binance Smart Chain ones, 9 of them have more than 100% dramatic growth in 30d volume, and all of their 30d transactions have increased.
6 NFT marketplaces broke their trading volume ATH.
Ethereum
No.1 Ethereum marketplace OpenSea now processing more volume daily than it did for the entirety of 2020.
On 2nd Aug, Devin Finzer, co-founder and CEO of OpenSea, tweeted that the platform had processed $95 million worth of transactions in two days.
Just 4 days later, the daily volume ATH was soon updated. On 6th Aug, a total of $71.8M worth of NFTs were traded on OpenSea.
The crazy volume started to rally at the end of July. OpenSea 30d NFT trading volume +334.77%.
And the growth seems no end. OpenSea topped the leaderboard in gas consumption on Ethereum, even ahead of the present most popular play-to-earn game Axie Infinity and the top dex Uniswap, according to Etherscan data.
As for the No.2 Ethereum NFT project, CryptoPunks, the 30d volume increased by 1116.71%. The curve shows a similar upward trend since late July. Its daily NFT trading volume also reached a new ATH of $45.25M on 5th Aug.
Then, 2 days later, the average price for CryptoPunks also reached a record-high 70.7245 ETH on OpenSea.
It seems the punks are still dominating the NFT marketplace by value.
Binance Smart Chain
Although the top BSC marketplace BakerySwap experienced a slide in 30d volume, there are 3 BSC NFT projects going up strongly.
Treasureland BSC hit daily NFT trading volume ATH $548.90K, with a sharp 697.78% increase in the past 30 days.
The NFT trading volume of AirNFTs broke ATH $599.18K on 18th Jul with a tremendous growth (30d +1198.94%).
Poopies is a new face in the top 10, which is just launched for 23 days. It reached daily NFT trading volume ATH $370.86K on 5th Aug.
