The first round of the Australian Open is over; day 2 was without rain and all the matches were completed for the men's draw.

Easy match for Rafa Nadal, winning 6-2 6-3 6-0 over Hugo Dellien. Easy win also for Nick Kyrgios and Gael Monfils, while Gulbis surprised Auger-Aliassime.

On the women's draw some matches still need to be completed; Maria Sharapova was a quick out, losing 6-3 6-4 against Donna Vekic, while the nr.2 Karolina Pliskova moved to the 2nd round with a 6-1 7-5 over Mladenovic.

Tomorrow day 3, with many interesting matches.
