Tamarind is a sour fruit. Many of us love to eat Tamarind for sour taste. This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Thiamin. It is rich in tartaric acid. Tartaric acid gives the sour taste to food besides its intrinsic activity as a potent antioxidant. It, thus, helps the human body protect from harmful free radicals.
This recipe is about tamarind juice. Vitamin 'C' is rich in tamarind juice and it is very helpful in digestion. It is easy to make and tasty to eat.

At first the list of the Ingredients:-
- Ripe tamarind: 1/4 cups
- Sugarcane molasses: 1 cup
- 3 cups of cold water
- 1 or 2 teaspoons of honey. (Optional)
Steps of the recipe:-
Keep the tamarind in half cup of water for half an hour. After that, strained it by a strainer.
Stir the molasses in one and half cup of water until it melted properly. Then strain it by a soft cloth.
Combine the molasses and tamarind together and add rest of the water. Mix well.
Serve the drink with ice cubes.
