Earning $100 in crypto - challenge update

I received $3 from Fire Faucet! Crypto Earning Challenge Week 7 Update

By Sara Spa | Daily Life | 20 Sep 2020

Back in July, I gave myself a challenge to earn $10 in 10 different cryptocurrencies in 10 months. Seventh week has passed and I’m here with another update.

Check out other articles about my challenge: Challenge | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6

This week, BTC landed in my wallet

I’ve completed a huge goal this week - I’ve finally had my first Fire Faucet withdrawal! I’ve used this faucet from the very beginning of my challenge and I must admit it took me a few weeks until I realized its full potential. Initially I was set on withdrawing Ethereum from this faucet but due to the rising gas fees, the minimum amount for withdrawal of Ethereum kept increasing so I finally decided to “bite the bullet” and convert everything to bitcoin. This comes with a 5% fee but I figured it was worth it since it meant I can finally make a withdrawal. Everything went smoothly and now I have 0.00030049 BTC from Fire Faucet secured in my wallet (See transaction). This brings my total bitcoin earned in these 7 weeks to 0.00073385 BTC - more than a dollar earned a week.

Plans, plans and more plans

In this update, I want to talk a little bit about my plans for future earnings. I’m almost there with bitcoin with about 3 dollars remaining to be earned. I’m planning to withdraw about $1 soon from Coinpot (I’m using BitFun, Bonus Bitcoin, Moon Bitcoin, Moon Doge, Moon Dash, Moon Litecoin and Moon Bitcoin Cash). For the other two dollars, I may use Hive Work but I didn't decide yet.

Next crypto on my list is Ethereum. However, I’ve found it difficult to earn Ethereum in these days of super high transaction fees. Since it is not feasible to send small amounts of Ethereum around, no one really wants to pay in Ethereum for anything. Other than my Publish0x earnings (around $0.95 in Ethereum) I don’t have other Ethereum sources at the moment. I think I will skip ETH earning for a while and focus on it afterwards.

Third on my goal list is Ripple and I have a very good plan for getting it. After cashing out 21.511 XRP last week from Nomadtask, I’m halfway there with this crypto. I will continue the same path for Ripple and try to get another $5-$6 through Nomadtask and hopefully there will be no issues to complete the challenge for XRP through this platform. Currently my balance in Nomadtask is $2.38 so in a couple of weeks I should be there. I also have $0.06 in XRP in my CoinFaucet account which I will probably withdraw directly to my wallet.

My next target for Fire Faucet earnings will be Litecoin I think. The minimum withdrawal is quite low at $0.68 which I can earn quickly if I focus on completing all the daily challenges. Also, I have two other sources of Litecoin - Free Litecoin App and Litecoin Miner. However, the withdrawals from Litecoin Miner have been paused and I’m not receiving an instant payout. I don’t care much about this since it was a small daily amount and I should receive it with about a month delay. Currently I stand at $0.38 in Litecoin secured in my wallet and another $0.05 waiting for withdrawal from the Free Litecoin App.

Most of my other earnings from faucets I will pour into Binance Coin since I have a very easy way of converting all the dust into BNB with a low fee through Binance. So far, I’ve collected about $2.4 mostly through using PipeFlare, Global Hive, Horizen Faucet and also some of my Banano balance. In addition to this, I will use all earnings from Free Tron, Free Chainlink and Free NEO for BNB as well. I’ve also had one new registration this week and it’s for a Free Cardano faucet.

Summary

Total value of crypto secured: ≈$14.00

Waiting for withdrawal: ≈$8.57

TOTAL: ≈$22.570

Another great week has passed! I know my update is a little bit late - it usually comes out on Thursdays. However, I’ve recorded all the earnings on Wednesday night as usual so there will be no difference. Stay tuned for the next update - hopefully on Thursday!

Notes:

All earning balances are concluded on Wednesday midnight and conversions from crypto to USD done according to prices at that time.
